Friday 5th April - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – Sunny periods.

Woke to a damp day here in Felixstowe but that cleared to become a sunny day but with winds gusting to 30 knots and no foil I decided to give windsurfing a miss, I have never ever been a fan of small boardsail sailing especially at bumpy Felixstowe! I drove down to Felixstowe Ferry to take some weather pics before Mag and I walked around to pick Maeva up for a few hours, as usual she was pleased to she us, well she was pleased to see Granny, those tow are joined at the hip, a real team:) We walked back to have a extra visit to see Mary as a lot of her family are in Greece for a wedding and had a nice time, Maeva loved it. Then home for lunch and when her Dad arrived to pick Maeva up I headed down to the Manor to take a few pics of the four windsurfers out before continuing on to pick up my replacement foil from Neil Hurrell and had a cuppa on their caravan veranda with Linda and their daughter Clare and her partner Kevin whi I haven’t seen for ages! Storm Kathern is coming for the weekend with strong winds and temperatures reaching 20 degrees I might head over to Levington to get some flatter conditions for foiling!
